Meet the faces behind Northland Painters. Tyson is our senior painter and the boss. He has many years of experience in the painting industry and his knowledge, expertise and skill are backed by a Certificate in Painting and Decorating. Tyson’s work ethic is second to none, he has a keen eye for detail and his work is exceptional. Second in command (though, this is still up for debate) is his partner in business and life, Miranda. Miranda has an educational background but has put that to the side, for now, to support Tyson to build their family business. Miranda is an excellent communicator and is the behind-the-scenes coordinator of everything that doesn’t involve the actual painting.

Miranda and Tyson took over the business at the beginning of 2021. Bill and Darryll have been amazing mentors both leading up to the transition and during their first year of running their own business.

Miranda and Tyson have three young sons who worship their father, and terrorise their mother! Taonga, their youngest, sports an extra copy of chromosome 21, and is the driving force behind everything this busy little family does.
